Job summary

Central Alberta Co-op is seeking a Customer Service Clerk for Eckville. This part-time role covers 24–36 hours per week with benefits after 3 months. Availability includes mornings, afternoons, and evenings on both weekdays and weekends.

You will handle POS, mail processing, and customer AR inquiries while upholding Co-op policies. Relocation within Canada is not required, but AB Health coverage is recommended for plan eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required.
• Applicants must be over 14 years old with permit if under 15, per Employment Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and assist in reducing theft and loss.
• Run point-of-sale terminals with accuracy and efficiency.
• Process all incoming and outgoing mail, including invoices and product.
• Assist customers with accounts receivable inquiries.
• Be familiar with and adhere to Central Alberta Co-op policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

CAC is participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15 - 24.

Position: Customer Service Clerk

Part-time:24 – 36 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability:Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities:
