Job summary

Timberlands Food Store in Red Deer is hiring a Deli Clerk for part-time work (24-36 hours per week). Benefit-eligible after 3 months, and AB Health coverage is required for out-of-province applicants to be covered by our plan provider.

The role involves serving customers, preparing sandwiches, pizzas, salads and other items, stocking and labeling products, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Weekdays and weekends, mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old (employment standards mandate a permit for ages 14 or under)

CAC is participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15 - 24.

Position:

Deli Clerk

Part‑time:
