Job summary

Giveandgo in Toronto is seeking a Baker Mixer to join our production team. Under supervision, you will mix raw materials to create finished products according to batch recipes and ensure equipment operates to specifications.

You will follow food safety, GMPs, health and safety guidelines, maintain batch records, and support changeovers and clean-up as needed in a fast-paced, automated facility.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches
• Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas
• Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment including cleaning and inspection
• Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety
• Regularly monitor that the product conforms to quality and safety specifications
• Strictly follows recipes to make product batches and feed production lines
• Accurately enters mix records onto computer in a timely manner
• Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment
