Job summary

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. is seeking a Baker Mixer to join our Brampton, Canada facility. Under supervision, you will mix raw materials to create finished products according to batch recipes and ensure equipment operates within specifications for quality and safety.

Qualifying candidates have 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food manufacturing, and must complete high school or equivalent. The position is on-site with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches
• Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas
• Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment including cleaning and inspection
• Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety
• Regularly monitor that the product confirms to quality and safety specifications
• Strictly follows recipes to make product batches and feed production lines
• Accurately enters mix records onto computer in a timely manner
• Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment

Job Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Line Leader or Production Supervisor, the Baker Mixer's primary responsibility is to mix raw materials in order to create finished products according to the batch recipes. They will ensure that equipment is operated within process specifications and that good quality products are produced at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches
