Job summary

RONA in Ontario is seeking a Receiving and Handling associate to ensure smooth and accurate product flow from deliveries to store shelves. You will receive, unpack, and move stock using a forklift, maintaining inventory integrity throughout the process.

You will also schedule deliveries, verify received quantities, and complete paperwork while supporting store operations. RONA emphasizes safety, inclusion, and teamwork, with many employee benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves using forklift to transport product.
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received and complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Perform other related tasks to keep the store running smoothly.

Your role:

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift to transport product to appropriate areas)
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space is available for incoming product
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
