Job summary

RONA is seeking a Receiving and Handling team member in the Montérégie area. You will be a key part of our Receiving and Handling team, turning every incoming delivery into a smooth and accurate product flow while supporting store operations.

The role involves receiving deliveries, sorting and unpacking, operating forklift and material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, scheduling deliveries, completing paperwork, and contributing to a safe, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate store equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, scanner).
• Commitment to health and safety in the workplace.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience with material handling equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive all product deliveries and maintain flow of inventory to store shelves (sort and unpack product, operate forklift).
• Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space for incoming product.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory received.
• Complete paperwork with attention to accuracy.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

What we're looking for:

• Ability to operate store equipment in assigned work area (forklift, pallet jacks, electrical lifts, computer, scanner etc.)
• A commitment to health and safety in the workplace
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with material handling equipment will be considered an asset
