Job summary

Steam Whistle Brewing Inc. is seeking a part-time kitchen team member in Toronto. You will assist with menu development, prepare high-quality dishes, and maintain kitchen cleanliness to meet the company’s service standards.

The role requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with an hourly rate of $19–$20 and a tip-out program. A food health and hygiene certificate is preferred. Training, beer benefits, and wellness days are offered.

Qualifications

• Evenings, weekends or holidays availability required.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Team player with collaborative approach.
• Solid understanding of restaurant business principles and service etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen.
• Assist with menu development, standardization and execution.
• Proper downsizing and labelling of all products.
• Prepare various food items, ensuring high quality leaves kitchen.
• Adhere to Steam Whistle's service standards and policies.
• Adhere to Steam Whistle's Health and Safety policies and procedures.
