Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team in Stoney Creek, ON. You will manage accounts, process orders, and collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Scheduling and Shipping to meet customer specs and delivery timelines.

Ideal candidates have a background in business or marketing, strong communication skills, and experience in B2B sales. The role offers a full-time schedule with a competitive salary and company bonuses.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or related field is an asset.
• Previous B2B sales experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• CRM experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned customer account base and drive profitable growth.
• Process customer orders accurately, ensuring pricing, product details, and terms are correct.
• Coordinate orders with Purchasing, Quality, Scheduling, and Shipping to meet delivery timelines.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Monitor inventory and anticipate future customer requirements.
• Prepare reports and provide purchasing recommendations based on inventory needs.
• Develop understanding of market pricing, industry trends, and costs related to material, processing, packaging, and delivery.
• Develop sales forecasts with management and account partners.
• Work toward established sales goals related to volume, gross profit, and inventory levels.
• Provide support and coverage for other Sales Team members.
