Job summary

Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team in Stoney Creek, Ontario. You will manage an assigned customer base, coordinate orders, and help grow our business by delivering strong service and solutions.

The ideal candidate has post-secondary education in Business or Marketing, prior B2B sales experience is an asset, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is preferred, with a team-oriented, results-driven

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned customer account base and drive growth.
• Process customer orders accurately with pricing and delivery terms.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, Scheduling, and Shipping to meet specs and timelines.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Monitor inventory and anticipate future customer requirements.
• Prepare reports and provide purchasing recommendations based on needs.
• Develop understanding of market pricing, industry trends, and costs.
• Develop sales forecasts with management and account partners.
• Work toward established sales goals for volume, gross profit, and inventory.
• Provide coverage for other Sales Team members.

Taylor Steel Inc. is looking for a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representativeto join our Sales Team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, building relationships, solving problems, and developing their career in sales. You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to manage accounts, coordinate orders, and help grow our business.

What You'll Do

• Manage an assigned customer account base and help drive profitable business growth.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring pricing, product details, delivery requirements, and terms are correct.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Scheduling, and Shipping to coordinate orders and ensure customer specifications and delivery timelines are met.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Monitor raw and finished goods inventory and help anticipate future customer requirements.
• Prepare reports and provide purchasing recommendations based on inventory needs.
• Develop an understanding of market pricing, industry trends, and costs related to material, processing, packaging, and delivery.
• Work with management and account partners to develop sales forecasts.
• Work toward established sales goals related to volume, gross profit, and inventory levels.
• Provide support and coverage for other members of the Sales Team as required.
