Job summary

Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Account Representative to join our Sales Team in Stoney Creek, ON.

You will manage an assigned account base, build strong customer relationships, process orders, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure on-time delivery and excellent service. You will work with Purchasing, Quality, Scheduling, and Shipping to coordinate orders, monitor inventory, and provide timely reports and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual in French and English (written and spoken).
• Post-secondary education in Business or related experience.
• Previous B2B sales experience is an asset.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• CRM experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and a team player.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring pricing, product details, delivery requirements, and terms align with approved quotes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while providing a high level of customer service.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Quality, Scheduling, and Shipping to coordinate orders and ensure specifications and delivery requirements are met.
• Monitor inventory and help ensure levels meet company objectives.
• Review inventory levels to anticipate future requirements and prepare reports and purchasing recommendations.
• Maintain understanding of products, customer needs, and internal processes.
• Provide reporting and information to customers, partners, and management as required.
• Support and provide coverage for other Sales Team members when needed.
• Take on other related responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring pricing, product details, delivery requirements, and terms align with approved quotes.

• Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory and help ensure inventory levels meet company objectives.
• Review inventory levels to anticipate future requirements and prepare reports and purchasing recommendations.
• Maintain a strong understanding of our products, customer needs, and internal processes.
• Provide reporting and information to customers, account partners, and management as required.
• Support and provide coverage for other members of the Sales Team when needed.
• Take on other related responsibilities as assigned.
