As an Azure Data Solutions Architect, Senior Manager, you’ll work with a team of problem solvers to address business issues, deliver high-quality client service, and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Leadership and Client Engagement

• Lead cross-functional teams in developing and proposing technical cloud-based data solutions, including proposals and statements of work.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs and translating them into strategic cloud data solutions.
• Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance in adopting cloud data technologies, aligning with clients' business objectives.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data use cases for implementation.

Solution Architecture and Delivery

• Design comprehensive data solutions leveraging Azure services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop reference architectures and best practices to optimize clients’ cloud data adoption, performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Analyze complex business and technical requirements, translating them into effective data designs and implementation plans.
• Oversee data migration and modernization projects, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
• Identify technical requirements for data use cases and develop detailed implementation plans.

Innovation and Thought Leadership

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud computing and data analytics.
• Develop reusable cloud patterns and artifacts for market deployment.
• Engage with the technology community to share knowledge and expertise.

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Work effectively with internal teams and clients to implement data architectures.
• Promote knowledge sharing within the organization.
• Lead technical aspects of multiple cloud data projects.
• Facilitate meetings and discussions to align project objectives and deliverables.

Experiences and Skills

• Extensive experience as a data engineer, architect, or related role.
• Proven experience with Azure data technologies, project execution, and data architecture.
• Experience in scaling cloud-based data projects, including data warehousing, lakes, and hybrid deployments.
• Knowledge of change management, modernization strategies, and migration from legacy systems.
• Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and other methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, with experience in consulting, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Expertise in Azure data services: Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake, Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency with data integration tools: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Logic Apps.
• Experience with big data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Azure analytics.
• Knowledge of BI, Power BI, data visualization, and data governance/security.
• Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning and AI integration.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, scripting skills in Python, SQL, Scala.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and encryption.
• Fluency in French required for Quebec-based roles; asset outside Quebec.
• Secret Security Clearance required; review eligibility before applying.
