Description

Reporting to the Business Solution Manager, IT Service Management within IT Services, the ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for providing strategic direction regarding the internal ServiceNow platform to address the organization's needs for IT hardware asset lifecycle management processes and solutions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Reviewing business requirements and determining the best-fit solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
2. Assessing the current state of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Asset Management Databases (AMDB), and guiding their alignment with out-of-the-box functionality and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
3. Creating and updating user stories to guide ServiceNow developers effectively.
4. Documenting and guiding changes to the ServiceNow platform and its integrations.
5. Enhancing testing strategies and proposing comprehensive end-to-end tests for CMDB/AMDB and related integrations.
6. Identifying opportunities for out-of-the-box reporting and performance analytics.
7. Collaborating closely with IT Asset Management Process Owners, IT Solution Architects, and System Developers to determine optimal solutions for proposed needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to work effectively with multiple teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Result-oriented and client-focused.
• Excellent communication, writing, planning, and coordination skills.
• Experience in implementing, configuring, and deploying ServiceNow instances, including:
• Knowledge and implementation of ServiceNow Scripting
• Knowledge and implementation of the ServiceNow ITSM Pro suite
• Knowledge and implementation of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) products
• Knowledge and implementation of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
• Integration experience with third-party data sources such as Microsoft Intune and System Center Configuration Manager

Certifications required:

• ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist: ITSM, HAM, SAM

Certifications considered an asset:

• International Association of IT Asset Management certification
• ISO/IEC 19770-1
