Our valued public sector client is in need of a Senior reliability cleared SAP Architect (10+ years) to support the transition from SAP ECC6.0 to S/4HANA within a large-scale federal ERP modernization initiative.

In support of the Canada Revenue Agency’s (CRA) Corporate Administrative Solutions (CAS) Transition to New Solution (CTNS) initiative, the contractor will provide architectural leadership and strategic guidance to support the modernization of SAP ERP systems. This includes designing transition strategies, evaluating fit-to-standard comparisons, and preparing the enterprise for migration to S/4HANA and H4S4 platforms.

100% remote, 1-year contract

Tasks Include:
  1. Perform high-level SAP configuration and foundational architecture activities aligned with S/4HANA
  2. Lead demonstrations highlighting S/4HANA functionality and differences from ECC6
  3. Identify integration points with SAP S/4HANA and H4/HCM
  4. Document system gaps, risks, mitigation strategies, and pre-transition requirements
  5. Develop detailed recommendations for transition strategy, including use of Fiori tiles and adoption approaches
  6. Create technical system landscapes and architecture designs for enhancements and SAP application development
  7. Guide team members and provide architectural oversight on design, tooling, and implementation choices
  8. Support end-to-end system design, analysis, and quality assurance
  9. Participate in JAD sessions, working groups, and senior-level planning presentations
  10. Ensure alignment with CRA methodologies, standards, and frameworks
  11. Provide regular updates to CRA management and support knowledge transfer
Must Have:
  • 10+ years of experience as an SAP Architect
  • 7 years of experience in the last 10 years across all phases of the SDLC (including business requirements, analysis, design, development, and testing)
  • 2 years of experience in the last 5 years leading project working groups or JAD sessions for an S/4HANA conversion (includes providing senior technical oversight and implementation framework)
  • 7 years of experience in the last 10 years creating SAP business architecture plans and project schedules
  • 5 years of experience in the last 10 years planning and implementing complex technical conversions from ECC6 to S/4HANA (including code adaptation, data migration, testing, change management)
  • 7 years of experience in the last 10 years working in a large government department, crown corporation, or private enterprise performing SAP Architect-level duties
  • Reliability Clearance
Constraints:

The contractor must provide their services during regular work hours (between 8:00 and 5:00) Monday through Friday, generally not exceeding 37.5 hours per week. Extended hours may be required as needed.
