Job summary

Ryder in Canada is seeking a Commercial Driver to operate a commercial motor vehicle between pick-up and destination terminals. The role ensures trips are conducted safely, efficiently and in compliance with company and DOT regulations.

Hourly rate is $26.12 per hour, with a Monday–Friday dayshift starting around 4am or 5am. This is a full-time role with benefits available after 30 days and a supportive, respectful work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 9+ months verifiable commercial driving experience.
• No more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the last 12 months.
• Valid CDL with air brake endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and company rules.
• Maintain accurate logs/records and minimize safety hazards.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight as needed by customer.

Essential Functions

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
