Job summary

Clean Harbors in Sarnia, ON is seeking AZ & DZ Drivers to operate vacuum trucks and high-pressure equipment for industrial cleaning at client sites. The role emphasizes health and safety, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include driving, loading/unloading waste, inspections, placarding, risk assessments, and teamwork with customers and supervisors. A DZ license (AZ preferred) and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• DZ/AZ license required; AZ considered as well.
• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• Industrial or construction background is an asset.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive, operate and maintain assigned units.
• Load and unload hazardous/non-hazardous waste.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure equipment is sound.
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet requirements.
• Complete field level risk assessments and related paperwork.
• Work as part of a team with customers, co-workers and supervisors.

Our Clean Harbors team in Sarnia, ON is looking for AZ & DZ Drivers to join their safety conscious team! The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of units such as Vacuum Trucks and High Pressure Equipment to perform industrial cleaning at various client sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Drive, operate and maintain assigned units;
• Guarantee proper loading and unloading of hazardous/non-hazardous waste;
• Perform pre and post trip inspections and ensure equipment is mechanically sound and in good working order at all times;
• Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to meet all requirements and regulations;
• Complete field level risk assessments and other related paperwork;
• Work as part of a team with customers, co-workers & supervisors.

Qualifications

• Class DZ Driver’s License required, AZ considered as well;
• Previous commercial driving experience required;
• Industrial and/or Construction based background considered an asset;
• Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time;
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, up to 5-10 days away from home at a time.
