Job summary

Swissport is seeking an Operations (OPS) Agent to efficiently coordinate, plan and manage Ottawa operations. The role requires handling flight documents, weight and balance, crew briefing and through-put of communications with partners and authorities.

Qualified candidates read/write/speak fluent English, work well independently and in teams, and can manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy. A valid Canadian work permit is required and familiarity with radio/telex/fax equipment is

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of operations and billing.
• Eligible to work in Canada with an open, valid work permit.
• Calm under pressure with clear information relay.
• Good communication skills and familiarity with radio/telex/fax equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare flight documents for pilots.
• Perform weight and balance calculations for flights.
• Brief flight crew.
• Coordinate communications with third parties and authorities.
• Dispatch and manage flight traffic messages.
• Monitor and follow up on all flights.
