Job summary

Swissport in Mississauga is seeking a Passenger Services Agent to provide passenger and customer services as contracted by our client. Responsibilities include reservations, ticketing, baggage handling, and assisting passengers with special needs, all while upholding Swissport policies.

The role requires fluency in English and Polish, a High School diploma, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Willingness and flexibility to work flexible hours.
• Be flexible to work different shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
• English and Polish fluency.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Attentive to detail and committed to continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Follow processes and procedures with a flexible approach.
• Able to type and learn airline‑specific reservation/ticketing software.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in Canada.
• Willing to work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify passenger documentation.
• Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations.
• Manage passenger baggage processing and fee calculation if applicable.
• Assist passengers through arrival and check-in, including for those with special needs.
• Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine when required.
• Make public address announcements as required.
• Assist Ramp Service Agents with wheelchairs and gate-checked bags.
• Comply with security requirements and Swissport SOPs.
• Operate jetway, keyboards, and reservation/ticketing software.
• Produce required work-related documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
