Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines is hiring a Permanent Part Time On Call Customer Service, Ramp, and Cargo Agent based in Victoria. This role supports a family-oriented, dynamic environment with safety-first operations and a focus on customer service excellence.

The successful candidate will manage check-in, boarding, baggage handling, reservations, cargo, and aircraft ground services while upholding Pacific Coastal Airlines' service standards and commitment to a positive passenger experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a time-sensitive environment.
• Comfortable using computers and payment terminals.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and irregular shifts.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check-in passengers and issue boarding passes; verify immigration documents.
• Check baggage and collect excess/overweight charges.
• Answer calls and book, change, or cancel flight reservations.
• Resolve service disruptions and determine alternative flight options.
• Execute deplaning and boarding processes for on-time departures.
• Process cargo shipments.
• Marshall, de-ice, and anti-ice aircraft.
• Load and unload passenger luggage, cargo, and pallets.
• Promote company products, services, and guidelines to passengers.
• Assist passengers with accessibility needs safely and professionally.
• Other duties as assigned.
