Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines in Tofino seeks a Permanent Part Time On Call Customer Service, Ramp, and Cargo Agent to join our friendly team. You will handle passenger interactions, baggage, cargo, and flight support duties while maintaining safety and service standards.

The role requires the ability to work under pressure, weekend/evening shifts, and comfort with computers and payment devices. On-site duties at the Tofino location with the broader Pacific Coastal network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and handle difficult conversations.
• Proficient with computers and payment terminals.
• Capable of lifting and handling luggage up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check baggage and collect excess baggage/overweight charges
• Answer calls, book, change and cancel flight reservations
• Resolve service disruption issues such as canceled or missed flights
• Execute deplaning and boarding processes, ensuring a safe, on-time departure
• Process cargo shipments
• Marshall, de-ice, and anti-ace aircraft
• On-load and off-load passenger luggage, cargo, containers/pallets, etc.
• Promote company products and guidelines at all times
• Deliver safe, stress-free passenger experiences
• Assist passengers with accessibility needs
• Other duties as assigned
