Job summary

Pacific Coastal Airlines is seeking a Permanent Part Time Customer Service, Ramp, and Cargo Agent based in Victoria. You will join a family‑oriented team, supporting passengers and cargo operations while upholding safety and service standards.

This role requires flexibility for weekends/evenings, ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and the confidence to interact with customers and partners. A valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Ability to multitask in a time-sensitive environment.
• Comfortable using computers and payment terminals (credit/debit).
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Flexible to work weekends/evenings/holidays/irregular shifts.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance.
• Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Check baggage and collect excess baggage/overweight charges
• Answer calls, book, change and cancel flight reservations
• Resolve service disruption issues such as canceled or missed flights, determining alternative flight options
• Execute deplaning and boarding processes, ensuring a safe, on-time departure
• Process cargo shipments
• Marshall, de-ice, and anti-ace aircraft
• On-load and off-load passenger luggage, cargo, containers/pallets, etc.
• Promote company products, services, processes, guidelines
• Commitment to providing a safe, stress-free, and friendly passenger experience
• Deliver service standards in accordance with Pacific Coastal Airlines philosophy
• Assist passengers with accessibility needs in a safe, respectful, and professional manner, utilizing ground service equipment as required
• Other duties as assigned
