Job summary

Leggat Mazda of Hamilton is seeking a licensed 310S automotive technician to join our service team. You will help keep vehicles safe and reliable by performing maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic, mechanical and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid Ontario G driver's license with clean driving record.
• Operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Professional, positive and customer-focused attitude.
• May consider 3rd- or 4th-year apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Complete repairs efficiently and to dealership standards.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and additional service needs.
• Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors.
• Perform road tests and safety inspections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

As a 310S Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping our customers' vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs
• Accurately diagnosing the source of mechanical and electrical concerns
• Completing repairs efficiently and to manufacturer/dealership standards
• Inspecting vehicles and identifying additional safety, maintenance or repair requirements
• Communicating repair findings and recommendations clearly with Service Advisors
• Performing road tests and safety inspections
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized work environment
• Working as part of a professional team committed to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a technician who takes pride in their work and wants to build a career with a strong, established automotive group.

• 3rd- or 4th-year apprentices may also be considered
• A valid Ontario Class G driver's licence and clean driving record
• The ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions
