Job summary

AWIN Mercedes-Benz Downtown Toronto is seeking an Automotive 310S Technician to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role focuses on maintenance, diagnostics and repairs with emphasis on luxury vehicles.

You will perform services per maintenance schedules, assist Diagnostic Technicians with preliminary diagnosis, and uphold safety and quality standards. A high school diploma and valid Ontario G licence are required; unionized position.

Job Purpose

The Automotive Technician preforms the daily technician works such as maintenance and diagnoses work. This is a specialized job and requires a candidate to be well versed with the technicalities of automotive parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
• Diagnose and perform comprehensive assembly, vehicle maintenance and repairs in cooperation with or under the instruction of a System or Diagnostic Technician
• Provide support to Diagnostic Technicians with preliminary diagnosis
• Adhere to the regulation of the automobile safety norms.

Rate

$46.23 hourly

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Ontario G Driver's licence
• Clear Driver's Abstract
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Must have manual transmission driving experience
• Good judgement
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
