Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a qualified Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Canada. The position is permanent, full-time with a 40-hour work week and English as the work language.

A trades certificate or diploma is required, with 3–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent. Proven ability to diagnose, repair and test automotive systems, and to advise customers on maintenance needs is essential. Valid driver's license and certification are required.

Qualifications

  • Education as in the posting: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years or equivalent.
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Inspect motor in operation.
  • Review work orders.
  • Road test motor vehicles.
  • Test automotive systems and components.
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service.
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
