Canadian Tire Stores in Belleville, ON seeks an Automotive Service Installer to perform basic maintenance, oil and lube services, tire installation, rotation and light repairs in a fast-paced service centre.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work shifts, physical stamina and familiarity with COSTAR. Join a diverse team focused on customer service and community presence.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for province of employment.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours while lifting and carrying items.
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, weekends and holidays).
• Approachable and customer-focused.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automobile technology and ability to work with computerized systems.
• Experience in a Canadian Tire Automotive Service Centre is an asset.
• Familiarity with COSTAR is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer vehicle basic maintenance and repairs, such as lube, oil and filter changes; rotate and balance tires; basic repairs and inspections that do not require a Licensed Automobile Technician.
• Administer drive clean emission tests (where applicable by province).
• Perform RIV inspections for Registered Imported Vehicles.
• Communicate with Service Manager/Service Advisors/Licensed Technicians and Back Parts Window Associate.
• Provide accurate estimates and written vehicle reports to the Service Advisor.
• Report any unsafe vehicle conditions to management and owner.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
