Job summary

Nanaimo Honda is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to initiate automotive services and repairs, verify warranty coverage, and develop estimates. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, preparing detailed repair orders, and maintaining clear communication with technicians and management.

Ideal candidates will have two years in an Automotive Service Advisor role, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and a valid Class 5 license.

Qualifications

• Two years of automotive service advisor experience.
• Proven track record in the automotive industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a drive to exceed expectations.
• Ability to service a diverse client base.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying problems and requested services.
• Assist customers with the highest level of service (internal and external).
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by reviewing records and papers.
• Prepare repair orders describing symptoms, problems found, and repairs needed; obtain approvals; enter into service database.
