Job summary

Vuteq Canada Inc. in Woodstock, Ontario is seeking a Sales Engineer to oversee quotes for new and existing business, maintain contracts, and ensure top-tier customer service.

The role emphasizes accurate quotes, collaboration with engineering and purchasing, and proactive relationship management to drive growth. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years inside sales and cost/estimating experience, plus a post-secondary background in mechanical/design engineering or business administration.

Qualifications

• Assemble quotes for new business, ensuring accuracy and feasibility by studying drawings with engineering software and gathering information from other departments.
• Work with engineering on engineering changes to understand and quote using Excel and customer portal.
• Update RFQ summaries, follow up with buyers until completed, reflecting lessons learned and customer feedback.
• Maintain constant communication with customers to ensure positive relationships and timely invoicing of parts and changes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble quotes for new business and study drawings to ensure feasibility.
• Quote using Excel and customer portals; coordinate with purchasing, engineering and process development.
• Update RFQ summaries and track follow-ups with buyers.
• Maintain ongoing customer communication to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Promote Vuteq capabilities to win new business and ensure accurate invoicing.
