Job summary

Guillevin Canada, located in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking an Industrial Quotation Specialist to support quote generation, pricing accuracy and timely delivery for industrial customers. Reporting to the Business Center Manager, you will handle inquiries, prepare quotes, negotiate terms with vendors, and coordinate with sales to close orders while maintaining product knowledge across lines.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of industrial experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Electrical product knowledge.
• Must be customer service driven.
• MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Answers calls promptly and professionally, listens to customers and fulfils their needs.
• Responds to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Negotiate prices and conditions with customers/vendors as directed by management.
• Resolve customer service issues and follow up on commitments.
• Suggests associated/alternative products to generate sales.
• Promote focus products to drive incremental sales.
• Inform the relevant contact of customer feedback on price, products, service.
• Read supplier/project reports to identify good-fit opportunities.
• Organize quotes and data to prepare accurate quotes and build history.
• Ensure timely delivery of quotes prior to closing.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on product lines.
