Job summary

Pfaff Automotive Partners Inc. is seeking an Automotive Sales Consultant for Honda of Thornhill in Thornhill, ON. You will welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the vehicle selection and buying process with a focus on service.

You will perform walkarounds, test drives, and demonstrations, build lasting relationships, maintain CRM records, and strive to exceed sales objectives while staying current on Honda products and promotions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of automotive sales experience preferred; previous retail sales experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong customer service and sales abilities with a results-driven mindset.
• Professional, positive, and customer-focused approach.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented dealership environment.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Valid OMVIC registration/license required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
• Understand customer needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget to recommend the right vehicle.
• Conduct engaging vehicle walkarounds, demonstrations, and test drives.
• Guide customers through the complete sales process, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery.
• Build lasting relationships through consistent communication and exceptional follow-up.
• Develop repeat and referral business by creating positive customer experiences.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in the dealership CRM.
• Meet and exceed individual sales objectives while contributing to team goals.
• Stay current on Honda vehicles, features, technology, incentives, and promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of competitor vehicles and automotive market trends.
• Coordinate professional vehicle deliveries and review vehicle features, technology, warranties, and maintenance requirements with customers.
• Introduce customers to the Service team to help support a positive long-term ownership experience.
• Participate in ongoing product, sales, and professional development training.
