Job summary
Scarborough Toyota, part of Canada One Auto Group, is seeking a Deals Clerk to manage billing and transaction details for vehicle sales. You will handle deal posting, month-end close coordination, and reconciliations in a high-volume automotive environment.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in automotive dealership accounting, are detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong Excel and MS Office skills and experience with Reynolds & Reynolds.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of similar work experience within the Automotive Industry.
- Must be detailed-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Experience with automotive dealership software (Reynolds & Reynolds).
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Post all New and Pre-Owned vehicle deals and related entries.
- Coordinate month-end close with sales managers to post deals timely.
- Reconcile deals booked with gross profit with sales managers.
- Monthly reconciliation of inventory, finance, and aftersales schedules.
- Monitor floor plan accounts to ensure timely payments.
- Post dealer trades, journal entries and new factory inventory.
- Daily bank deposit reconciliation and posting.
