Job summary

KB1 Group Inc. in Fort McMurray, AB is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to provide day-to-day support for plant control systems in an operating facility.

You will work with Honeywell Experion/TPS or Emerson DeltaV DCS, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to MOC activities while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Instrumentation teams.

This role requires autonomy, strong communication, and hands-on experience in an industrial plant environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion/TPS or Emerson DeltaV DCS.
• Experience working in an operating industrial plant environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Location: Fort McMurray, AB
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
