Job summary

KB1 Group Inc. in Fort McMurray, AB, is seeking an Automation Engineer (DCS) to provide day‑to‑day support for plant control systems in an operating facility. The role requires hands‑on experience with DCS platforms and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities include supporting Honeywell Experion/TPS or Emerson DeltaV systems, implementing DCS logic, and collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Instrumentation teams. 40 hours/week schedule, on site.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Honeywell Experion/TPS or Emerson DeltaV DCS.
• Experience in an operating industrial plant environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
