Job summary

Recruiting Room Ltd. seeks an Autobody General Manager in Port Colborne, ON to lead a busy collision repair facility. This full-time role requires hands-on leadership, expertise in collision operations, and a focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

You will oversee workflow from intake to delivery, coach staff, manage KPIs, and collaborate with insurance partners to drive profitability and performance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of autobody/collision-centre management experience.
• GM/leadership role experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of the collision repair process from intake to delivery.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Experience with estimating, supplements, parts procurement and insurance repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the collision repair facility.
• Lead, coach and support technicians, estimators, customer service staff and other shop employees.
• Manage workflow from vehicle intake through production, QC and final delivery.
• Monitor repair-cycle times, productivity, efficiency and overall shop performance.
• Work with insurance companies, adjusters and other business partners.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of employees.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and communicate production priorities.
