Job summary

Distinctive Autoworks in Edmonton, AB is seeking an experienced Shop Manager to lead one of our high-performing collision repair facilities. You will drive operational excellence, coach a diverse team of technicians, estimators, and coordinators, and deliver the exceptional customer experience that Craftsman Collision is known for.

You have 5+ years in automotive collision repair leadership, strong budgeting and KPI skills, and proficiency with estimating software (Mitchell, Audatex, ALLDATA).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in automotive collision repair.
• Strong budgeting and KPI management skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with estimating software and ADAS calibration is a plus.
• Valid Class 5 license and Canada work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shop operations for efficiency and profitability.
• Coach a diverse team of technicians, estimators, and coordinators.
• Foster safety, continuous improvement, and customer care.
• Manage shop financials, KPIs, payroll, and vendor relations.

What You'll Do

Lead daily shop operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Provide coaching, direction, and support to a diverse team of technicians, estimators, and coordinators.

Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and customer care.

Manage shop financials, KPIs, payroll, and vendor relationships.

Promote Craftsman Collision in the community and support business development initiatives.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, company policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of progressive experience in automotive, collision repair, or related industries (leadership and customer service experience required).

Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

Strong understanding of shop operations, budgeting, and performance management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of estimating software (Mitchell, Audatex, ALLDATA) and familiarity with ADAS/vehicle calibration systems considered an asset.

Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract.

Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Travel Required

Yes. Occasional travel required within North America for company events.
