Sedgwick Canada invites you to join the Auto Claims team as a Claims Adjuster-Auto in Quebec. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will investigate auto claims, determine coverage, negotiate settlements, and maintain professional relationships with insureds and claimants while upholding company standards and quality expectations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of claims handling experience, licensing in Quebec (AMF) or eligible for it, and a university degree or equivalent in a related field.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree or equivalent, or relevant claims experience or two-year associate’s degree.
  • Enrollment in CIP or CIP designation; AMF licensure or ability to obtain.
  • Commercial lines adjusting experience is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complete desktop investigation of assigned claims by telephone.
  • Review policy wording to confirm coverage and apply losses.
  • Communicate with insureds and claimants; prepare reports; negotiate settlements.
  • Maintain accurate records using company systems and procedures.
  • Coordinate with field adjusters and assign tasks as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry changes through ongoing education.
