Job summary

Intact is seeking Claims Adjusters for multiple locations in Quebec, including Montreal and Laval. The role offers a hybrid work model, a structured salary range, and training to obtain the required claims adjuster licence.

You will handle new claims by phone, interview insureds, determine coverage, analyze data, and settle claims with fairness. We provide a comprehensive benefits package and an annual bonus target, with the potential to earn more through performance and ESPP contributions.

Qualifications

• Must have a claims adjuster licence and successful exam completion.
• Full training provided to obtain/maintain licence.
• Excellent customer service and analytical skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Open new claims by phone with customers and manage them promptly.
• Interview insureds and witnesses to gather accounts of events.
• Determine coverage by reviewing policy details and liability.
• Analyze information, make liability decisions and review damage assessments.
• Settle claims fairly and issue payments.
