Definity, through Economical Insurance, is seeking a Claims Representative to join our Auto Claims team. You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve first‑party automobile claims while delivering a positive customer experience.

You will guide customers through FNOL by telephone, set expectations for the claims journey, and coordinate with vendors to resolve cases efficiently. The role emphasizes accuracy, courtesy, and timely follow-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Experience handling automobile with understanding of terminology and auto policies.
• Previous customer service and call centre experience is a definite asset.
• Excellent keyboarding skills and ability to navigate through numerous screens and systems quickly.
• Professional, friendly and courteous to customers.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and settle first‑party automobile claims.
• Guide customers through FNOL by telephone and set up the claim steps.
• Provide prompt, courteous, accurate, and fair claims service to all customers.
• Take ownership of each call and follow through to resolution.
• Explain the claim process clearly to customers and determine coverage.
• Ensure claims are promptly investigated and work with vendors to resolve.
