Gore Mutual is hiring an Associate Auto Claims Advisor in Cambridge, Ontario. This hybrid role blends in-office and remote work two days per week, supporting customers and brokers through claims investigations, settlements, and payments.

We seek 1–3 years of customer service, an undergraduate degree, and interest in CIP. Strong communication, empathy, and decision-making are essential to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service experience required.
• Undergraduate or post-secondary degree preferred.
• Insurance industry, call center or brokerage experience helpful.
• Interested in pursuing CIP designation.
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Sound judgment and decisiveness in decisions.
• Strong empathy and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims and determine coverage under policy.
• Inform and educate customers about the claims process.
• Arrange vendor services (repairs, appraisals, rentals, towing).
• Process claims payments and enter data accurately.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to customers and brokers.
• Ensure claim reserves and payments align with policies.
• Review appraisal findings and guide settlement processes.
• Assess loss details to confirm coverage, order reports as needed.
