Job summary

Kinark Child and Family Services is hiring a Scheduling Coordinator in Autism Services in Markham, Ontario. The role focuses on coordinating schedules for center-based, home-based, and virtual ABA programs for children and youth, in collaboration with the clinical team.

The successful candidate will respond to short-notice changes, manage staff allocations, ensure accurate client appointment data entry, and work across Kinark sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Related post-secondary education.
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with Kronos and PeopleSoft is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and respond to last-minute changes.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, time-management and communication skills.
• Experience creating schedules across multiple teams.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license with access to a vehicle and business use insurance.
• Knowledge of cultural diversity; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
• Equivalent combination of education & experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling for full-time and part-time instructor therapists across center, home, and virtual ABA programs.
• Respond to short-notice absences and adjust staff schedules accordingly.
• Create staff schedules based on availability, client schedules, cancellations and training cycles.
• Enter client appointment data and assist the clinical team with planning.
• Occasional work at multiple Kinark sites within a 50-km radius.
• Remote work option exists, but on-site work is required to meet program needs.
