Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years related experience with one year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops audit and analysis models for efficient operation.
  • Prepares daily and monthly reports and authorizes payroll.
  • Supervises team performance and oversees HR activities.

As an Auditor Supervisor, you will be responsible for the administration, supervision and operation of the audit department ensuring compliance with internal controls. You will ensure compliance with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulations and all applicable laws, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops audit and analysis models for efficient operation of the department
  • Audits daily paperwork received from banks and games
  • Prepares daily and monthly reports
  • Authorizes bi-weekly payroll, reviews budgets and financial reports
  • Supervises and manages team performance
  • Fosters a safe and efficient work environment, while maintaining an open-door policy
  • Oversees human resources activities such as training, coaching, performance feedback, safety and recruitment


What You Bring

  • A college diploma or equivalent with focus in Accounting or designation in the Accounting field or comparable working experience in the related fields
  • A minimum of two (2) years of related experience with minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
  • Proven high level of Customer Service
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages is required
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
