Job Title:

Fire Sprinkler Systems Inspector

Salary:

$74,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year

Job Summary:

As a fire sprinkler system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations within your territory. We seek licensed Fire Sprinkler Inspectors to inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure they function effectively and meet NFPA standards. You will also be responsible for adjusting or repairing malfunctioning systems and performing basic sprinkler inspections. We are looking for a dependable, self-starting individual with a "Can Do" attitude to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Schedule fire sprinkler system inspections.
2. Test and inspect fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
3. Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid response during testing.
4. Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs.
5. Advise customers of test and inspection results.
6. Maintain excellent communication with your Area Coordinator regarding inspections, rescheduling, etc.
7. Ensure good written and verbal communication skills; demonstrate good interpersonal skills.

Position Details:

• Full-time position, 40+ hours weekly.
• Responsible for meeting service calls efficiently.
• Identify emergencies and respond quickly to support customers.
• Use geographical maps, Google Maps, and understand maps for scheduling.

Customer Service Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming calls with customers and office staff.
• Keep thorough documentation of service calls.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years post-high school education preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Apple/Android tablets.
• Ability to work M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexibility.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder.
• NICET certification and/or fire sprinkler background a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Travel: 100%, remote work.
