Job summary

Promutuel Insurance East-Coast is seeking a Business Development Advisor for the Atlantic Region, working remotely with regular travel across the territory. You will maximize broker relationships and drive profitable growth with brokers in the Atlantic market.

The role requires strong bilingual communication, a proven track record in business development, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver innovative insurance solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Atlantic insurance brokerage market.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Experience in business development or broker networks is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent French and English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to identify opportunities and build long-term broker relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maximize broker experience in the Atlantic region to achieve the plan for each broker.
• Support the Atlantic team in profitable broker portfolio growth.
• Analyze, accept, modify or decline broker submissions.
• Collaborate with teams to develop innovative insurance solutions.
• Represent Promutuel Insurance East-Coast at industry events and networking activities.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of broker contacts and opportunities.
• Contribute to broker training programs for professional growth.
• Analyze KPIs to identify growth opportunities and improvements.
