RONA in Canada is seeking a lumberyard associate to deliver expert customer service for lumber and building materials. You will help customers load products safely, verify invoices, and maintain organized stock in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Provide customers with expert advice on lumber and building materials
• Assist customers with loading product safely and efficiently
• Check invoices and verify correct products are provided
• Assist with daily upkeep of the department including unloading trucks, sorting lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, pricing, and stocking pallets
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for staff and customers
• Assist with opening and closing duties in the Yard
• Perform other tasks to ensure smooth store operations

Your role:

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset
