RONA in Châteauguay is seeking a Lumber Yard Associate to provide expert advice and assist customers with building materials. You will help load products safely, check invoices, and support daily upkeep of the department to keep shelves stocked, organized, and accurately priced.

You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, opening and closing duties as needed, and contribute to a clean, safe store experience for customers and colleagues.

Competenze

• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
