Job summary

RONA is seeking a lumberyard team member in Longueuil, QC. Provide customers with expert advice on lumber and building materials, assist with loading, and verify invoices to ensure the correct products are delivered. Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized yard.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.
• Experience in lumberyards or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for lumber and building material needs.
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Maintain daily upkeep of the department including unloading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
