Job summary

CAPREIT Apartments is seeking an Associate Property Manager in Halifax to lead resident relations, oversee leasing, and manage daily operations. You will build strong relationships with residents, address concerns, and ensure smooth onboarding and occupancy targets.

The role requires 2 years in leasing or property management, a high school diploma, and proficiency in MS Office; SAP is a plus. Evening/weekend flexibility and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in leasing, property management or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets.
• Strong problem-solver with effective negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Leasing Champion: oversee the leasing process from inquiry to onboarding; monitor vacancies and meet targets.
