Job summary

CAPREIT Apartments is hiring a Leasing Specialist in Canada. You will own the leasing process from inquiry to onboarding while building strong relationships with residents and addressing concerns to ensure satisfaction.

This frontline role requires 1–2 years in customer service or related fields, a High school diploma, and proficiency with MS Office. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle may be needed for various locations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, office administration or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office. SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships as frontline liaison and deliver excellence to maintain resident satisfaction.
• Own the leasing process from initial inquiry to onboarding of new resident and monitor vacancies to meet targets.
• Collect payments, inspect the property and facilitate resident moves and maintenance requests.

About the Leasing Specialist opportunity:

Resident Ambassador:

As our frontline liaison, build strong relationships and deliver excellence by addressing concerns to maintain resident satisfaction.

Leasing Champion:

Own the leasing process from initial inquiry to onboarding of new resident. Proactively monitor vacancies and achieve leasing targets.

Operations Guru:

Collect payments, inspect the property and facilitate resident moves and maintenance request.

What you need to succeed:

• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service, sales, office administration or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office. SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets.
• Strong problem-solver with effective negotiation skills.
• Highly organized and detailed-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence, clean driver abstract, reliable, insured means of personal transportation to and between work locations may be required for some locations.

The starting salary for this position is expected to range between $47,000 and $52,000, depending on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
