Job summary

VB Spine is seeking an Associate Clinical Representative, Spine to support surgeons during life‑changing spinal procedures. In a remote role for Canada, you’ll work with Territory Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers to promote VB Spine products, provide clinical education, and deliver after‑hours support while helping achieve sales objectives and ensure excellent customer service.

The position requires a university degree in a health‑related field, 2–5 years in sales or OR

Qualifications

• University degree in a health-related field or sciences preferred.
• 2–5 years outside sales or operating room experience is an asset.
• Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of hospital environments helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales Representatives in promotion and sale of VB Spine products.
• Educate physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on product use and maintenance.
• Direct product evaluations in OR and office settings.

Associate Clinical Representative, Spine

As an Associate Clinical Representative, Spine in our Sales function, you’ll work closely with Territory Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers to support the promotion and sale of VB Spine products — including surgical case coverage, clinical education, and after-hours support — while helping achieve sales objectives and delivering outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist Sales Representatives in the promotion and sale of VB Spine spinal products
• Educate and inform physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on the proper use and maintenance of VB Spine products
• Direct product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings
• Provide daily surgical case volume coverage and after-hours call support
• Support preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and clinical meetings as needed
• Keep Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Managers, and the Director of Sales informed of territory progress
• Solve product-related issues for customers in a timely and professional manner
• Manage and maintain a sample inventory of products
• Collaborate proactively with internal teams to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation
• Live and exemplify VB Spine’s Values in all interactions
• Conduct all work in compliance with the VB Spine Code of Conduct, applicable laws, and high ethical standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Country Director, Canada

What You Bring:

• University degree preferred (Science, Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering, or health-related discipline)
• 2–5 years of experience in an outside sales role or operating room experience is an asset
• X‑ray technologist background, experience, or education will be considered in place of other qualifications
• Fluent in both French and English (mandatory)
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of hospital environments and clinical settings
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing role with after‑hours support requirements

Compensation:

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay range for this position is CAD $65,000 – $85,000 annually, with potential for commissions, bonuses, and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
