Job summary

VB Spine is seeking an Associate Clinical Representative, Spine to support surgeons in Canada from a remote Montreal-based setup. You will assist Sales Representatives, educate clinicians, and coordinate case coverage in ORs and clinics while upholding VB Spine’s standards and customer service excellence.

Fluency in both French and English is mandatory, and an OR background or X-ray training is considered an asset. Compensation includes a CAD 65k–85k range with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred in science, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, or health-related discipline.
• 2–5 years in outside sales or operating room experience is an asset.
• X-ray technologist background considered in place of other qualifications.

As an Associate Clinical Representative, Spine in our Sales function, you’ll work closely with Territory Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers to support the promotion and sale of VB Spine products — including surgical case coverage, clinical education, and after-hours support — while helping achieve sales objectives and delivering outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist Sales Representatives in the promotion and sale of VB Spine spinal products
• Educate and inform physicians, nurses, and hospital staff on the proper use and maintenance of VB Spine products
• Direct product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings
• Provide daily surgical case volume coverage and after-hours call support
• Support preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and clinical meetings as needed
• Keep Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Managers, and the Director of Sales informed of territory progress
• Solve product-related issues for customers in a timely and professional manner
• Manage and maintain a sample inventory of products
• Collaborate proactively with internal teams to promote a culture of inclusiveness and cooperation

• Conduct all work in compliance with the VB Spine Code of Conduct, applicable laws, and high ethical standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Country Director, Canada

What You Bring:

• University degree preferred (Science, Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering, or health-related discipline)
• 2–5 years of experience in an outside sales role or operating room experience is an asset
• X‑ray technologist background, experience, or education will be considered in place of other qualifications
• Fluent in both French and English (mandatory)
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of hospital environments and clinical settings
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing role with after‑hours support requirements

Compensation:

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay range for this position is CAD $65,000 – $85,000 annually, with potential for commissions, bonuses, and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
