Job summary

VB Spine in Burlington, ON is hiring a Kitting Coordinator to assemble, inspect, and maintain surgical kits, ensuring completeness and readiness for use in spinal procedures. The role focuses on accuracy, hygiene, and teamwork in a regulated medical device environment.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided. You will support warehouse tasks, track kits and components, and collaborate with Distribution and Customer Service to ensure timely kit availability.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required — comprehensive training will be provided.
• Experience in assembly, warehouse, healthcare, or regulated environments is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured processes consistently.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify loaner and consignment surgical kits for completeness and condition.
• Assemble, break down, and rebuild surgical kits according to defined standards and procedures.
• Ensure all kits are accurate, fully stocked, and ready for shipment or use.
• Operate washer/disinfector and related equipment to clean and maintain kits in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of kits and individual components.
• Assist in managing inventory of kit components and supplies.
• Identify missing, damaged, or expired components and elevate issues as needed.
• Follow internal quality procedures and compliance standards at all times.
• Support warehouse activities such as picking, packing, and shipping when required.
• Collaborate with Distribution and Customer Service teams to ensure timely kit availability.

Compensation:

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance with potential for overtime and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and local market conditions in Burlington, Ontario.
