Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is seeking an Assistant Server to deliver a high standard of service and hospitality to our guests. In this role, you'll support the dining experience through efficient service and attention to detail.

You may be required to work holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. The position offers subsidized onsite staff accommodation, an employee meal per shift, comprehensive benefits, and an opportunity to grow within Fairmont and Accor properties.

Responsibilities

• Take food orders from kitchen and present to guests in a timely, courteous manner.

• Bus and set tables as required.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist with health and safety.

Job Description

Join our team as an Assistant Server and contribute to delivering a high standard of service and hospitality to our guests. In this role, you'll be integral in ensuring a smooth dining experience through efficient support and attention to detail.

Pay Rate

$19.13/hour

Job Duties Include

• Collect food orders from the kitchen and present to guests in a timely, courteous manner
• Communicate with server & kitchen to ensure allergens & dietary restrictions are carried out properly
• Bussing and setting tables as required
• Restock supplies and dishes
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Self‑motivated, with the ability to make effective decisions
• Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
• Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
